Kate's Diet

Kate Middleton is looking slim and sleek for her up coming wedding. How did she do it? By using a French diet called the Dukan Diet.  This diet is a high protein, low carb, low fat diet. It's creator is Dr. Pierre Dukan. Oak bran plays an important role in this diet to provide fiber, lower cholesterol, give a feeling of fullness and slow down sugar absorption. There are four phases to this diet. 

Phase 1 is the attack phase. It consists of high protein foods and 1.5 tablespoons of oat bran each day.
Phase 2 is the cruise phase. It consists of protein days, protein and veggie days and 2 tablespoons of oat bran each day.
Phase 3 is the consolidation phase. It allows two "celebration" meals each week. You can eat any foods you like! Don't forget your 2 tablespoons of oat bran per day.
Phase 4 is the permanent stabilization stage.  It is assumed that you have learned to eat healthy and will continue to do so. Also, eat 3 tablespoons of oat bran per day, take the stairs instead of the elevator and have a pure protein day once a week.
