Texting Gloves

I hate the cold weather! I especially hate having to take my glove off to text a message.  Guess what? No more cold hands.  We don't have to take a glove off anymore thanks to touch screen gloves. These Isotoner Smart Touch Gloves are stretchy and comfortable and have conductive thread on the index finger and thumb that conveys electrical impulses to a touch screen.  How cool is that? I have a pair and the work great! Dry Cuticles

So many of my clients experience dry splitting nails and dry cuticles with lots of hangnails in the winter.  The dry winter air and too much exposure to water is to blame.  Keep your hands out of water as much as possible, apply lots of moisturizer throughout the day and wear your gloves, warm winter gloves outside and rubber gloves for cleaning and doing dishes.   Heal dry cracked cuticles by applying cuticle oil or just plain olive oil to them, then layer on a healing balm such as petroleum jelly or Balmex before bed. You can also try cuticle oil.  CND Solar Oil is a fabulous nail and cuticle oil you can also try. I use it on my clients during their manicures. It contains nourishing oils, Jojoba, Almond and Vitamin E, that penetrate and protect the nails and skin. Find it in salons and spas for about $9 .00 for a 7.3ml (.25 oz) bottle.            Have a Beautiful Day!  xo Jill Licensed Cosmetologist,  Esthetician,  Makeup Artist PS: Thanks for using my a
