My knees are too dark and dry!

The summer sun can cause your knees to get too dark and dry!

Help lighten them by using a pumice stone to gently slough away dead skin. If you are at the beach, apply a little oil to your knees, then massage them with sand. Rinse and apply SPF 50.

You can try using an exfoliating lotion such as CeraVe SA Renewing Lotion to continue the exfoliation and to moisturize. Find CeraVe at drugstores including CVS and Walgreens.

You can also try a skin lightening treatment at night. Jurlique Purely Bright Spot Treatment helps to lighten dark spots with natural kakadu plum extract and citrus unshiu peel extract.  http://www.jurlique.com/skin-care/skin-concern/uneven-skin-tone/pbst/new-purely-bright-spot-treatment

And always wear a high sunscreen of 50 SPF on the knees daily to keep the skin from getting dark again from sun exposure!
