A. This is a hot item in the weight loss industry right now. There is a tree that grows in Southeast Asia that produces a pumpkin shaped fruit. The fruit is called a variety names including Malabar tamerind, assam fruit, brindal berry or brindle berry.

The fruit is used for cooking, as medicine and is food for wildlife. It also has an amazing fat burning effect!

The extract from the fruit, hydroxycitric acid (HCA), helps to block the enzyme, citrate lyase, that turns excess carbs that we eat into fat. The carbs burn instead of turning into fat.
