Princess Kate wedding pics

Who doesn't love a royal wedding with all it's elegance and pageantry? I had to snap a few shots of Kate and William's wedding from my TV so I could really look at her dress, hair, makeup and nails!    Kate looked beautiful in her Sarah Burton gown. Her hair was down and pulled back on the sides. Her nails were short and a pale sheer shiny pink. She entered wearing a tiara, a Cartier 'halo' tiara made in 1936 and given to the Queen Mother and presented to the Queen by her mother on her 18th birthday. I heard she had she had 6 hairdressers, but I wonder about her makeup artist. I thought her eye liner was far too dark and heavy on the lower lash line!  The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Just Married. Another thing that fascinates me about a royal wedding are the fascinators and various millinery that the Brits wear. They are fantastic with all their flowers, feathers, netting, tulle, and bows!  Here are a bunch of my f...

Recipe: Asian Style Brussels Sprouts

Asian Style Brussels Sprouts My younger daughter loves Brussels Sprouts. People were astonished in the produce store when they heard my little 4 year old asking if we could get Brussels sprouts for dinner! Brussels Sprouts contain the most Vitamin C of all the vegetables.  Vitamin C is necessary for collagen production in our bodies. Collagen keeps our skin firm and wrinkle free.     1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved (or use whole baby Brussels sprouts)     1/2 cup chopped onion     1/3 cup vegetable broth     1 tablespoon olive oil     1 tablespoon dark sesame oil     1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger     1 garlic clove, minced     1 tablespoon soy sauce (or gluten free soy sauce) Heat sesame and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low. Add onion, ginger and garlic to pan and saute for 3 minutes. Add broth and Brussels sprouts. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer about 10 mi...

How to tell if your Eggs are Fresh

Eggs offer quality high protein, that our bodies need for healthy tissue growth and repair, with low calories.  That means good protein building blocks for the body to make beautiful, hair, skin and nails! Find out if your eggs are fresh with the bowl of water test.  Put the egg  in  question in  a bowl of cold water.  A nice fresh egg will sink to the bottom and lay on it's side.  A not so fresh egg will sink to the bottom and stand on end.  Old eggs float....toss them! PS. I hear eggs that are a little old are the easiest to peel when they are hard boiled which is good to know because I always have so much trouble peeling hard boiled eggs without tearing up the whites! Trick to Keep Lipstick off of your Teeth!

Here is a fabulous quick tip I learned years ago from the beautiful model Cindy Crawford.  She talked about her secret for keeping lipstick off of her teeth on some shoe I was watching. I'll never forget it because it works every time!!! Apply your lipstick. Put your index finger in your mouth. Close your lips around the finger while sliding in out. Voila! The lipstick is removed in just the right places so your teeth don't get lipstick on them.           Have a Beautiful Day!  xo Jill Licensed Cosmetologist,  Esthetician,  Makeup Artist PS: Thanks for using my amazon 💋 As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases at no cost to you.
