Time to work on your spring wardrobe and green is the color to wear!  The Pantone Color of the Year for 2013 is Emerald. Not just emerald green is in. There are plenty of shades of green to choose from this spring especially minty green shades.  Crisp black and white looks are also in if you are not feeling the green.  Another trend for spring that you may not like is 90's fashion. Yes, the 90's are back! Acid washed denim, printed leggings, crop tops and bold print tops. Good luck with that!   You will also be seeing the 60's influence that we have been seeing. Bermuda shorts are hot as well as strips.  A trend I really like is polka dots. They are always fun and happy and are great to add as an accent. A polka dot scarf work well. This beautiful December bride had a wintry  wedding with a snowflake and navy blue theme.  It was a little chilly and cloudy but not too bad though, a good day to get some nice outdoor pics. We arrived in the early afternoon to do the makeup and hair for the bride, her mother and her bridesmaids at the home of the bride. The brides curly hair was done in a twisted updo. It looked so pretty and shiny! Her veil attached to the back. For her makeup, I applied highlighter and foundation to create luminous skin. We agreed on soft smoky gray eye with white shimmer shadow to represent shimmering snowflakes, then added black eye liner and black mascara on her long lashes. Lips were a soft nude pink with rosy blush. A light shade of bronzer was lightly dusted on to warm up her complexion and create a subtle contour.
