Amazing Makeup

Why do I love doing makeup? I am always amazed at the transforming power of makeup. Society requires us to look a certain way to be successful and accepted. It may not seem right, but that's the way it is. Makeup can change how we feel about ourselves and how others feel about us. It can give us confidence and, in a way, gives us a protective mask to hide our insecurities.

 It can take a Plain Jane and turn her into a dazzler.

It can hide skin issues that people would stare at such as acne and port wine spots. It can cover your tattoo when you go to that important interview. Most fun of all, makeup can create illusions.  Just think of all the fabulous movie makeup that transform actors into their characters. And.....there is the art that is created with makeup. This lizard is actually two women.

Nerium AD: Nerium Oleander Side Effects (part 1)

Have you heard about Nerium AD? It is an anti-aging cream sold though the multi level marketing company Nerium International, LLC launched in August 2011.   The cream contains it's namesake, extract from the nerium oleander plant.  Botanicals are all the rage, so this is good, right? It's from a plant, good, right?  Oh, did I forget to mention that nerium oleander is poisonous? All parts of the plant are poisonous, the leaves, the seeds, the bark, the sap, the flowers and the extract. Dermatofibromas

I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated.
