Stiletto Nails with Purple and Gold Chevron Design

Q. What are stiletto nails? A.  Stiletto nails are very long almond shaped nails usually decorated with nail art or polished in a funky french manicure style.  These nails are created using tips and/or acrylic.  It is possible to shape natural nails in the stiletto style if they will grow long and are not too wavy. Rihanna and Lady Gaga love wearing this trend! Red and Gold Nail Designs

My Christmas Nail Designs 2012 Here are some easy nail art ideas to add a touch of glittery holiday spirit to your nails!  Red and gold nails are so festive at holiday time. Here are some nail designs created using a variety of nail design materials.  How to Create Red and Gold Nail Designs I started by polishing all the nails a nice garnet red. Zoya Vanessa is beautiful.  Buy on Amazon  $10.00 Then, I added the gold bling using gold leafing, gold glitter polish, a gold sticker, and gold glitter. The thumb got some gold leafing on top of the red. The index finger got a gold french tip with a gold shimmer polish. Zoya Ziv is a gorgeous gold! Buy on Amazon   $9.97 The middle finger got a gold sticker. I used a regular sticker purchased from a craft store, applied it to polish that was thoroughly dry, then coated it with several coats of Seche Vite. The ring finger got several coats of the gold polish. And last, but not least, the pinky got a light sprinklin

Winter Bridal Makeup at Lucien's Manor

This beautiful December bride had a wintry  wedding with a snowflake and navy blue theme.  It was a little chilly and cloudy but not too bad though, a good day to get some nice outdoor pics. We arrived in the early afternoon to do the makeup and hair for the bride, her mother and her bridesmaids at the home of the bride. The brides curly hair was done in a twisted updo. It looked so pretty and shiny! Her veil attached to the back. For her makeup, I applied highlighter and foundation to create luminous skin. We agreed on soft smoky gray eye with white shimmer shadow to represent shimmering snowflakes, then added black eye liner and black mascara on her long lashes. Lips were a soft nude pink with rosy blush. A light shade of bronzer was lightly dusted on to warm up her complexion and create a subtle contour. Her wedding venue, Lucien's Manor, was festively decorated for Christmas. It looked so warm and beautiful! The bride captured the shimmering snowflake theme
