Allergy Rash from Christmas Tree: Causes and Remedies

Here is your annual reminder to protect your skin as you decorate this holiday season. My daughter called me out for not following my own advice after my arms got all scratched up handling our artificial tree! 🎄 It's tim e to get the house looking festive for the holidays and lucky for me, I have plenty of helpers.😸  That means putting lights and decorations not only on indoor Christmas trees, but on outside trees and bushes as well resulting in scratches and rashes on hands and arms in the process!  It happens every time for me with both real and artificial trees.  People can be allergic to the sap or rosin that evergreen trees produce causing painful, burning rashes on the skin. Lately, I have been hearing even more about sugar. It's not good news. Eating sugar causes chronic inflammation that can lead to a variety of disorders and diseases like some cancers, rheumatoid arthritis and cardio vascula...

I have added some more great products to this post to help you get better skin. A few years ago, in the Philadelphia area, we woke up to a fresh blanket of snow to finish our year. It was quite fitting for the end of the year and the beginning of a new one. It's like a white canvas ready to be painted or a blank page ready to be written on. I always make New Year's resolutions. They are usually the same every year...to be more organized and to make more money! I will use those old resolutions once again and add more this year including better hydration.  Water is so important for our body and skin. I find I drink a lot of water in the summer but not so much in the winter. Time to make a change. There are lots of other easy small changes you can make in your daily routine to improve the look and health of your skin. I have 5 Easy New Year's...
