I have been busy this week getting a bride ready for her wedding. We have done a trial on her makeup, some waxing and massaging! Yesterday was facial day so I thought it was the perfect time to post some bridal skin care tips. Face Begin your facial regime at least 6 months before your wedding. You will get the most benefit from a professional facial monthly.  At home, all skin types (except for extremely sensitive and rosacea) should be using an exfoliating product and a moisturizer formulated for their skin type.  Exfoliation removes built up dead skin cells that make your skin look dull and can block your pores.  This gives you fresher looking skin and less blackheads and breakouts. Moisturizer protects and hydrates. Peels that are creams, gels and liquids containing salicylic and  alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) are great for removing dead cells. Are your lips still dry and peeling? Get sexy kissable lips with a little TLC.  Start by giving them a gentle exfoliation.  You can exfoliate your lips in a few ways: A brush Use a toothbrush or a motorized brush such as a Clarisonic brush on wet lips. A washcloth Use a wet washcloth on wet lips. A scrub Use a sugar scrub on wet lips. Here is an easy sugar scrub recipe. Brown Sugar Lip Scrub Recipe 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil Mix brown sugar and olive oil together in a small bowl until smooth. Wet your lips. Apply scrub to your lips. Massage the lips and lip line in a circular motion for 30 seconds. Rinse and pat dry. Exfoliate your lips once or twice per week. Exfoliating them more than that can over exfoliate them causing more peeling and irritation. Now Moisturize! After exfoliation, apply a thin layer of moisturizer. Are you hunting for a new job? Your appearance, from head to toe, matters more than you think! I chatted with a woman who was interviewing people to fill a job opening. She commented on one particular applicant's appearance. She said the job seeker was wearing worn open toe shoes with unpolished toe nails. The interviewer didn't even consider hiring her. Why? This is what we want... thick, full youthful brows. We want to look more youthful so we need to make our brows look thicker. Plus, thick bold brows are a current trend. But... This is what we have.
