Pumpkin Facial Masks

This time of year there is pumpkin everything! Lattes, pies, donuts, Cheerios, Oreos, marshmallows, yogurt, candy, cough drops, even pizza! 😲 Well, add skin care products to the list.

Pumpkin is full of the antioxidants betacarotene, vitamins C & E and the minerals copper, iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc.

Not only is pumpkin good for you to eat, it is also good for your skin!  It sloughs dead cells and renews the skin. It's easy to whip up a home made pumpkin mask right in your own kitchen. Here is a recipe:

Pumpkin Facial Mask Recipe

It's so clean and natural, you can eat it!

2 Tablespoons Organic Canned Pumpkin

1 Tablespoon Honey
1 Teaspoon Milk

Mix ingredients together and apply to your face.  Lie back and relax for 15-20 minutes.  Rinse well and apply moisturizer.

Not good in the kitchen?  You can find a variety of skin care products containing pumpkin.

Mychelle Dermaceuticals is a clean, cruelty free beauty brand. I have used and loved many of their products.
