It's so hard to choose a look for your prom makeup because there are so many different ways you can go with makeup. You can do a dramatic smoky eye with a glossy pinky nude lip.  Maybe you want a soft natural looking eye with a nice bold red lipstick.  Maybe you want a soft glittery eye with a hot pink lip. So many choices!  Should your makeup match the color of your dress? I find it works best to use makeup colors that compliment you (your skin tone and eye color), then add a pop of color that matches your dress if you want to. It's embarrassing....a dry flaky scalp.  The scalp can become dry for a variety of reasons. It also can be irritated and flaky from dandruff. What's the difference? Let's compare the issues starting with dandruff. We have  those oils to keep our scalp and hair moisturized and healthy.  The problem is, the natural oils are broken down by the fungus and a by product called oleic acid is produced.  Oleic acid isn't a bad or dangerous thing, but some people are sensitive to it. I've been looking for the perfect shade of rose lipstick for some time now. A cross between a pink and a red. I don't know why it's been so hard for me to find. I find a lipstick color I think would be it but it turns out to be too fuchsia, too red or even too coral. I found one that is almost perfect. I say almost because it turns a little more red on me than I want it to. It's Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in  Catfight . Urban Decay describes it as a pink-fuchsia with slight red undertone. Here is is on my daughter. It seems to look great on different skin tones. It works well for me with my medium beige skin, but I think it looks even better on my daughter's pale creamy skin! There is a body part that most (if no all) of us seem to neglect in our beauty regimens. Can you guess what it is?  It's the ears & earlobes!!! I have heard that the ears continue to grow as we age. That seems to be true when you see old guys with those big, big ears! The ears don't really grow. It can seem like they grow but what is really happening is they are stretching.
