Summer Nail Polish Colors: The Zoya Barefoot Collection Summer 2019 Swatches

The name of Zoya's summer nail polish collection is just perfect for me. Barefoot.
zoya barefoot
I love to be barefoot with pretty polished toes! Especially when I'm barefoot on the beach with my pretty polished toes in the sand!

The 12 colors in the Barefoot collection are beachy and happy. It's a rainbow of colors that perfectly represent the sun, sea, sand and sea shells in cream, shimmer and a glitter finishes. There is a color to please everyone in this collection! The color getting the most attention so far at the salon is Keira, a soft metallic color that reminds of sand.

Maybe Kiera is the favorite so far because it's a soft neutral color that works well for the springtime. We'll see which color becomes the favorite when we get into summertime.

My sweet feral kitty friend joined me on the deck for my cloudy day photo shoot. Isn't he adorable? He's the fattest feral cat I've ever seen! He obviously knows which houses in the neighborhood provide cat food.

Let's start the rainbow of polish colors in the Zoya Barefoot collection with the soft peachy Joey.

Joey
zoya joey
Zoya Joey is a soft pinky peach cream seashell color. It's opaque finish is bright and bold yet has a softness about it. So beautiful!

Tessa
zoya tessa
Zoya Tessa is a metallic warm peach with a gold and coral micro shimmer. Another beautiful seashell color!

Keira
zoya keira
Zoya Keira is a taupey sand color with a beautiful copper shimmer. Not a color that I would usually wear, but I think it looks fabulous on my toes! The cloudy day did not do this color justice. The copper shimmer really glimmers in the sunshine.

Marcy
zoya marcy
Zoya Marcy is a sunny orange coral metallic. I'm not usually an orange girl, but this looks color bright and happy on my toes! The cloudy day also did not do this color justice. It shimmers beautifully in the sun.

Liza
zoya liza
Zoya Liza is raspberry cream that will look amazing on many different skin tones.

Robbie
zoya robbie
Zoya Robbie is a warm raspberry with a fine gold glitter that shimmers in the sun. I think I need to add some sunny day pics to really some these shimmery colors off!

Dacey
zoya darcy
Dacey is a fabulous hot pink cream. I call it the perfect bikini pink since it matches my favorite bikini perfectly!!!

Rie
zoya rie
Zoya Rie is a lovely medium to deep purple cream. Another color that reminds me of the colors in a seashell.

Walker
zoya walker
Zoya Walker is a rich nautical blue cream. You all know how I feel about blue. It's my favorite! I can't stop looking at my beautiful blue toes!!! (This was a tough one to find on Amazon since the name to completely wrong on Amazon!!!)
Eleni
zoya eleni
Zoya Eleni is a light bright pale blue cream. Zoya describes it as a seafoam blue. It sort of has a minty look to it. It's another color that is light, bright and bold yet has softness about it.

Bee
zoya bee
Zoya Bee is a pale bright yellow cream. Not the best color for my skin tone but it looks pretty fun on my toes! Be warned. It's a bugger to work with due to streaking. Be patient and apply many thin coats to achieve a nice solid finish.

This color makes me happier when it's topped with Nahla from the Zoya Sunshine collection. Scroll to the the pairings section to see the Bee and Nahla combination.

Dallas
zoya dallas
Zoya Dallas is a clear with white and silver metallic glitter pieces. It looks gorgeous over all the colors!

There they are. The beautiful colors in the Zoya Barefoot Collection. Just perfect for summer. My clients and I will enjoy wearing them all one by one!

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Don't let that word scare you. They are harmless, but unwanted bumps.  They can occur on any area of the skin that tends to be on the dry side. They cannot be squeezed out like a blackhead or pimple because they have no opening. A layer of skin covers them. A hole must be created in them using a needle, then they can be extracted out. Read more about blackhead, whiteheads and blind pimples This is a common problem for the under-eye area. It is a dry, delicate area of the skin. I see it a lot on my clients. Heavy products

Dermatofibromas

This post is all about dermatofibromas and some remedies to help make them look better and ways hide them. It includes my Amazon Affiliate Links to help you find the products I talk about. Q. I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated. A doctor will tell you not to worry about it because it's benign, but it's kind of ugly! Dermatofibromas are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas. They are the result of some sort of injury to the skin such as an ingrown hair or a bug bite.  Be careful when shaving because a dermatofibroma may bleed and become sore if nicked. Don't think you can get rid of it by shaving it off. It will be an awful looking sore and will j

Dermatofibroma on Leg

A Dermatofibroma is an unsightly brown or red bump that is very common on the legs. They are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas and are more common in women than men. They can hurt, itch and become inflamed easily. They are the result of some sort of injury to the skin such as an ingrown hair or a bug bite.  I have tried lots of home remedies on my dermatofibroma. Some help it look better than others but the ugly thing is still there! Read more about dermatofibroma remedies. There is only one way to remove it for good...surgery. It must be surgically excised out. A dermatofibroma goes deep into the skin. It will only grow back if it is cut off of the skin at surface level. The problem with the removal is it leaves a long scar that is about 2 inches or so long. It has to be done that way to be able to sew the skin back together so it is smooth and not puckery. Here is a picture of a scar from the removal of a dermatofibroma. This scar was also treated with a laser to imp
